County Supervisor John Zaragoza to stump for Martin Hernandez in 3rd District Race

WHEN:   Saturday, May 14 2016 at 9:30 a.m.

WHERE:  Marina West Park with the mobile office being parked on the west side of the park near the corner of Novato Dr. and Hill Street in Oxnard.


Supervisor John C. Zaragoza elected to the Ventura County Board of Supervisors in November 2008 has joined Supervisor Kathy Long and other local elected officials in endorsing Martin Hernandez for Board of Supervisors representing the Third District. Martin Hernandez is currently Mayor of Santa Paula and Chief of Staff for Supervisor Kathy Long who is retiring at the end of this year. Mayor Hernandez announced his candidacy on March 7, 2016.

As a demonstration of his support, Supervisor Zaragoza will accompany Martin Hernandez beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 14.  Together they will walk the South Oxnard precinct meeting residents and discussing concerns related to their community.

Hernandez has dedicated his career to Public Service and has built long-term trusting alliances both, within County Government and in the field with Community, Government, Union and Business leaders throughout the district. He is committed to making sure the people of Ventura County have a voice.
