Editor’s Note: In the last rainstorm approximately 95,000 acre feet of water was lost due to the court decision giving the Delta Smelt.  This would have been enough supply to support the needs of half the inhabitants of San Diego for one year.

starve.coyThis coyote and millions of other animals like him are dying in an agony of thirst and starvation so that the Delta Smelt can live in the Sacramento-San Joaquin estuary.  Millions of coyotes, foxes, badgers, raccoons, reptiles, rodents, amphibians and birds of all descriptions including vast numbers of endangered and threatened species are dying as you read this.  They are also having their habitat destroyed by a small group of humans who claim to be saving a species of fish by cutting off water to the California Central Valley and many other areas of central and southern California.  I think it is disgusting.  What do you think.
