Daniel Chavez kicks off Oxnard City Council Candidacy

Daniel Chavez first announced a run for Oxnard Mayor, until talking to mayoral candidate Miguel Lopez. He then decided to run instead for City Council. 

He is concerned about corruption, mismanagement and lack of passion, trust and mutual respect in city government and thinks he can do better. Public safety, development and jobs are special concerns.
