Keep in mind that many politicians from both political parties are most concerned for their political survival, not that of the unborn.

There is a connection between Planned Parenthood, funding for elections and politicians. Certainly friendly to Planned Parenthood politicians are very happy to receive support at election time from Planned parenthood and Planned Parenthood is more than happy to receive taxpayer dollars for abortions. This is another special interest group that taxpayers are forced to support through the election process.
