Defunding The Police Claims Its 41st Victim In Austin–Oakland Murders UP 566% in Year

This is what happens when you defend the police.  In Oakland in the past year homicides went up 566%–not a typo.  In Austin, Texas, they have defunded the police and this decent, peaceful town has had its 41^st murder this year.

“Austin Mayor Steve Adler and Council Member Greg Casar defunded the city’s police in the name of racial justice and equity.

Did they anticipate that their decision would result in a skyrocketing murder rate that disproportionately impacts the city’s minorities?

That’s what’s happening.

Austin suffered 47 homicides in all of 2020, which was the worst year for homicides in a decade. 2021, the year in which defunding the police kicked in, will surely surpass 2020’s total.”

I would bet that the vast majority of murder victims were people of color.  So, the white Democrat Mayor created a policy that killed people of color—that is called racism.  He is a bigot and needs to apologize for the deaths he caused.  But, this is happening in almost all cities run by Democrats, people of color are being killed and the white supremacists Democrats want to take away even more police protection.
