Did you see the new Conejo Valley Unified School District Budgets and Expenditures for 2018-2019?

From the data I have gathered, (CVUSD, EdData and Data Quest), the average teachers salary is over $90,325 a year for 2017/2018, with fringe benefits of 41.2%.  So we taxpayers are paying $127,539 per teacher.

Administration Cost is much higher, between $150,000- $300,000 per.  Fringe benefits up 13.5% this year, for multi-million dollars pensions at 85% of highest salary, making them millionaires.

How did these salaries get so out of control, how did they rise so fast, were did this money come from?

Remember the 5M in yearly Infrastructure dollars (property taxes, sales taxes, lottery, federal, etc), that the Board spent to 0.  So after 20 years of neglect, this 100M went toward salaries and pensions, another 200M Measure I goes towards salaries and pensions.  CVUSD using salaries and pensions on Measure I, and no one says a word.  We have been scammed, no one says a word.

Salaries are going up 1.2% from last year, so the average salary will continue to rise, same with 13.5% benefit rise. They have 25M in reserve and complain they have no money to move forward.
