Dignity Health St. John’s Hospitals to Limit Visitors

Due to significant flu-like activity in Ventura County and concerns about preventing COVID-19, St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital (SJPVH) and St. John’s Regional Medical Center (SJRMC), members of Dignity Health, have implemented the following visitor restrictions.

    Effective immediately, March 17, 2020:

    • All visitors must be 17 years of age or older.
    • Only one visitor per patient per day is allowed in the hospital.
    • Visiting hours are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    • Visitors will be given a wristband upon entering the hospital.
    • NICU: Only the infant’s parent(s) who are in good health may visit. NO other VISITORS.
    • Mother and Infant/Labor and Delivery Units will only allow one care partner or visitor in good health. No children.
    • ICU and Subacute units will not have visitors for the time being.
    • Patients and visitors may only enter through the hospital main entrance or the Emergency Department. All other entrances are currently employee-access only.
