Do You Know What Your Grandchildren Believe?

This title caught my eye – “College Students Are Being Taught to Hate America and it Could Destroy the Country,” – By Daniel Davis, WJ The Western Journal, December 20, 2018. (Daniel Davis is the commentary editor of The Daily Signal, the multimedia news organization of The Heritage Foundation covering policy and political news, conservative commentary and analysis.)

A recent survey commissioned by The Foundation for Liberty and American Greatness (FLAG – nonprofit devoted to restoring civics)  and conducted by the data analytics firm YouGov, based on 1078 Americans, showed millennial Americans have an unfavorable view of the United States of America,

Below is a list of thoughts promulgated in the article and in the survey.

Patriotism:

  • Half of Americans agree that America is both a racist and sexist country.
  • 2 out of 5 millennials believe it is okay to burn the American Flag.
  • 1 out of 5 Americans under the age of 37 do not think Americans should be proud of their history.
  • Nearly half of younger Americans under the age of 37 disagree that America is the greatest country              in the world.
  • Nearly 6 in 10 Americans disagree that America is headed in the right direction.
  • 4 in 10 Americans under 37 disagree that America has a history that we should be proud of.
  • 2 in 10 millennials see the American flag as a sign of intolerance and hatred.
  • 3 in 10 Americans disagree with the statement: I enjoy seeing the American flag displayed in my community on Independence Day.
  • 1 in 2 Americans disagree that displaying a tattered or worn flag is disrespectful.
  • Over half of Americans disagree with the statement, ”people should always salute the American flag at a sporting event.”
  • The system, they say, is “rigged.”

The “hate America” agenda is being taught in schools – from kindergarten through high school – long before students arrive on college campuses. Many current text books are also contaminated with leftism. This has to change.

Young people are being propagandized by the liberal education system. They are not being taught the correct history of our country, or of the world. Taxpayers and parents spent a lot of good money to bring their children with “brains full of mush” to progressive schools who then transform them into good democrat useful idiots.  The young college students get their safe spaces where they can control what people say and do.

This divide between the left and right is real. Its impact on the nation will be devastating.

1896 – John Dewey, socialist, father of Progressive Education, came to America to train a group to change education in America. He gathered college Education teachers into liberal groups teaching then the Marxist theory of education. This was to change reading, writing and arithmetic to a socialization program emphasizing attitudes, relationships and feelings. (See 1960-1975)

1905 – The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching (CFAT) was founded.

1918 – Rockefeller & Carnegie Foundation planned the end of Traditional Academic Education – Rockefeller to be in charge of US – Carnegie in charge of International Education.

1934 – Carnegie Institute released its pamphlet Conclusions and Recommendations for the Social Studies, infusing “social justice and acceptable behavior through psychology into our schools. Read Charlotte Iserbyt’s summary: Carnegies Communist Manifesto

1945 – Creation of the United Nations. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce played a role, along the Carnegie Foundation for International Peace, and the Rockefeller Foundation.

1946 – J. Elmer Morgan, his editorial in the NEA Journal, January 1946, “The Teacher and World Government,” “in the struggle to establish an adequate world government, the teacher can do much to prepare the hearts and minds of children. At the very top of all the agencies which will assure the coming of world government must stand the school, the teacher, and the organized profession.”

1946 – General Brock Chisholm, M.D. head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Canadian psychiatrist, promoted the behavior modification processes now mandated through Goals 2000 Act.

1946 – An early documentation of the plan to communize American education is an article by Dorothy Dawson, secretary to the school superintendent, entitled “Community Centered Schools THE BLUEPRINT,” which appeared in the Montgomery County, Md. “Advertiser,” April 11, 1973, clearly spells out the socialist education revolution which would take place in American education, using Montgomery County schools as pilot schools for experimentation.

1951 – In a report entitled, The Greatest Subversive Plot In History, Rep. John T. Wood of Idaho, stated in the Congressional Record on Thursday, October 18th 1951, “Just how careless and unthinking can we be that we permit this band of spies and traitors to exist another day in this land we all love? Are there no limits to our callousness and neglect of palpable and evident treason stalking rampant through our land, warping the minds and imaginations of even our little children, to the lying propaganda and palpable untruths we allow to be fed to them through this monstrous poison? “

UNESCO’s scheme to pervert public education appears in a series of nine volumes, titled “Toward World Understanding, which presumes to instruct kindergarten and elementary grade teachers in the fine art of preparing our youngsters for the day when their first loyalty will be to a world government.”

The record continues, “The program is quite specific. The teacher is to begin by eliminating any and all words, phrases, descriptions, pictures, maps, classroom material or teaching methods of a sort causing his pupils to feel or express a particular love for, or loyalty to, the United States of America. Children exhibiting such prejudice as a result of prior home influence,“ of which “UNESCO calls “the outgrowth of the narrow family spirit” are to be dealt an abundant measure of counter propaganda at the earliest possible age. Booklet V, on page 9, advises the teacher that: The kindergarten or infant school has a significant part to play in the child’s education. Not only can it correct many of the errors of home training, but it can also prepare the child for membership in the world society.”

1960-1975 – The PC culture was implemented. John Dewey’s New School For Social Research, was the training ground for unsuspecting future teachers, who were trained to integrate the media and Hollywood into our lessons. “Today you can not see a movie, series or documentary which does not carry some government message, especially climate.”

1962 – On June 25, l962, Engel vs Vitale was the first case to remove prayer from schools.

1962 – An editorial in the Chicago Sun -Times exposed the NEA’s plan: Control over the Nation’s children is being shifted rapidly to the NEA, and NEA is extending its control over college and universities and over the funds received from taxpayers. 

1963 – 45 Goals of Communism read into Congressional Record by Rep Herlong R-FL.

1974 – Alvin Toffler, along with Willard Wirtz and other futurists wrote a report issued to the Institute for Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) titled Man, Education, and Society in the Year 2000. Other CSSO participants were George H. W. Bush, James Baker and Edmund de Rothschild. Funded by HEW’s Office of Education.

1976 – The Russian book, The Scientific and Technological Revolution and the Revolution in Education, translated and imported to the U.S.A., helped lay the foundation for the philosophy behind Outcome-based Education.

The timeline continues from 1976 to through 2018.

Civic lessons have disappeared in many classrooms, leaving these young people devoid of the history of the United States.  Some children even believe that Barack Obama was more influential in the history of the United States than old white George Washington.

How did we get to this disrespect of the USA?  The above information from 1896 through 1976 tells the story.

There’s a war going on for the future of this nation – 2019 is going to be a battle for the ages.  If something isn’t done, the younger generation will destroy this country – because of the way they are educated in the schools.
