Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release
On September 9, 2020 at approximately 4:43 pm the Simi Valley Police Department responded to the 800 block of Talbert Ave. reference a call of an overturned vehicle collision with the driver still inside. Upon arrival of first responders, the driver was safely extracted and had no apparent injuries. Preliminary investigation determined, the driver collided with a parked vehicle, which caused it to roll and come to rest on its side. The driver showed symptoms of alcohol intoxication and subsequently arrested for DUI. The driver was identified as Jamie Biggle 44 yrs. old from Simi Valley.
An hour later, at approximately 5:56 pm units responded to the 2700 block of Hollister St. reference another vehicle collision into a parked vehicle. Upon arrival the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was determined to be intoxicated. The driver was identified as Christopher Thompson 34 yrs. old from Simi Valley and was not injured. A preliminary investigation determined that the driver rear-ended a parked vehicle. The driver had a blood alcohol content of .11% and arrested for DUI and booked into the Ventura County Main Jail.
