Electric Vehicle show is Sept. 10 in Oxnard

by John Hankins

Demand for electric vehicles “has come forward much faster than we expected” according to an industry report, and the public can see why by talking to owners and dealers and even taking test drives during an interactive show in Oxnard Sept. 10.

“This is where we owners are able to educate the public about how to own and use these vehicles, which are a pleasure to drive, simpler and less expensive than most potential owners believe,” said James Reach, who owns a Tesla Model S with Autopilot. He represents the Los Padres Chapter Sierra Club, which is sponsoring the event in partnership with the Community Environmental Council, among others.

I wonder if those who choose these cars know they are essentially driving a coal powered car?
