generic arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;”>Two Festival stages will be “jamming” at the 33rd Annual California Strawberry Festival May 21 and 22 in Oxnard where non-stop entertainment adds to the sweet celebration that pays tribute to the beloved seasonal fruit.

Musical styles range from Indie Folk, Ska and R & B, to Pop, Jazz, Latin, and Country, and featuring tribute groups with electrifying tunes from David Bowie, The Eagles, and Credence Clearwater. New this year, popular deejays will amp up the action each day.

When attendees need a break from dancing, they can visit a variety of 50 food booths serving up a sweet palate of berry treats like strawberry funnel cake, strawberry pizza, deep fried strawberries, strawberry shortcake, chocolate dipped strawberries and even strawberry beer. Sales proceeds benefit 20+ local charities.

Held on 15 pristine acres at the Strawberry Meadows (3250 South Rose Avenue, Oxnard), festival hours are 10:00am to 6:30 p.m. Admission prices range from $5 to $12. A free express shuttle service runs from multiple convenient locations off the 101 freeway to make getting there easy, saving $10 on parking.
