Event Announcement
‘Heading into the 2018 holiday season the popular and most highly anticipated community event, the Oxnard Christmas Parade is a Downtown Oxnard winter tradition and will be held on Saturday, December 1st, 10am -12noon.
Sponsored by City of Oxnard, Community businesses and brought to you by Oxnard Downtowners, the event is one of the largest parades in Ventura County and attracts thousands of spectators to the heart of Downtown. The Parade features nearly 100 decorative floats, vehicles, marching bands, dancers and more! The Parade is followed by the Oxnard Tamale Festival at Plaza Park.
Kicking the day off is the city’s annual Holiday Parade, with a theme this year of “Making Spirits Bright.”
With a 10 a.m. start, the parade route wraps around the festival site and features the sights and sounds of colorful marching bands, equestrian units, local school groups, floats and a visit from Santa!
