    Ride Santa Barbara returns for its 12th year!

    RideSB100 offers five distinct courses to suit a range of cycling abilities – each course offering a world class Santa Barbara cycling experience! 🚵🏻‍♂️

    All courses start along the beach and follow the beautiful Santa Barbara beachfront before turning inland to experience all Santa Barbara has to offer. Cyclists will wind through some of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the country; experience the rolling foothills lined with citrus and avocado orchards and climb some of the most famous mountains in the country, all while experiencing some of the most beautiful views in southern California.

    All cyclists will receive:

    • Official 2023 RideSB100 cotton t-shirt
    • Official 2023 RideSB100 water bottle
    • Official RideSB100 musette bag
    • Fully supported aid stations
    • Mechanical support
    • Finish Line Festival with food (paella!) and two free beers (Riders 21+)
    • And more!

    All riders will receive an overall chip time and riders who participate in the Gibraltar Challenge will be ranked for King of the Mountain awards!

    RIDES

    100 mile – 9,000′ of climbing

    • The 100 mile course is one of the most beautiful and challenging 100 miles of riding you may ever accomplish!
    • Route includes the Santa Barbara waterfront, the foothills of Carpinteria and Montecito, the famous 7 mile climb up Gibraltar Road and the flatland’s of Goleta before finishing back at Leadbetter Beach.
    • All 100 milers will receive an exclusive Finisher Coin at the 100mi turnaround and the option to provide a custom nutrition bag for use on course.
    • All 100 milers have the option to provide a custom nutrition bag to be utilized on the ride at the 100 mile turn around.
    • Experienced cyclists only – View Course

    100 km GRAVEL BETA – 7830′ of climbing

    • This ride has it all- recommended for experienced cyclists seeking a challenge.
    • The route follows beginning portions of the 34 mile event before deviating to tackle the famous Gibraltar Road Climb.
    • Descend old Gibraltar Road – “Gravel” and dirt into the Los Padres National Forest.
    • Traverse the Santa Ynez River Valley before ascending the very stout Arroyo Burro Road climb -6 miles, 2000′ elevation.
    • Reconnect with the 100 km + Gibraltar event near the top of East Camino Ceilo and follow the last 20 miles on road back to Leadbetter Beach. View Course

    100 km + Gibraltar Challenge – 7,000′ of climbing

    • 62 miles of some of the most spectacular riding Santa Barbara has to offer.
    • Includes the famous 7 mile climb up Gibraltar Road without riding the full 100 mi distance!
    • Recommended for experienced cyclists – View Course

    100 km Coastal Route – 4,000′ of climbing

    • 62 miles of some of the most spectacular riding Santa Barbara has to offer.
    • Intermediate to experienced level cyclists – View Course

    34 mile – 2,200′ of climbing

    • Ride through some of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the country before turning inland to experience the back roads and rolling foothills of Santa Barbara with a few short climbs along the way.
    • Beginner to intermediate level cyclists – View Course

    Registration Policy

    Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Sorry, no exceptions. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. You may transfer your entry to another participant, but all transfers are subject to a $25.00 fee plus any difference in registration price.
