The 7th annual Ventura County Agricultural Day Golf Tournament will be on Monday, June 26 at the Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo. Money raised by the tournament helps support Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture’s (SEEAG) 100% cost-free agricultural education programs for kids and community members in Ventura and Los Angeles counties. Since SEEAG’s founding in 2008, over 15,000 elementary school students in Southern California have increased their understanding of the farm origins of their food—through no-cost farm field trips and in-class SEEAG presentations.
The golf tournament cost is $250 per person. Green fees and cart, 18 holes of golf, continental breakfast, lunch, prizes, swag bags, cocktail reception and awards dinner are included. In addition to tasty snacks and beverages at different holes and farm to bar signature craft cocktails will be prepared and served throughout the day. Check-in is at 8:30 a.m. with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start, Texas Scramble tournament tee time. Dinner is at 5:00 p.m.
The tournament is presented by SEEAG and Lowthorp Richards, the tournament’s premier sponsor.
