VENTURA – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced plans to fully close State Route 126 (SR-126) next week for road paving operations in the city of Ventura.

From Monday, October 22 to Friday, October 26, the following full closures of SR-126 will be in place in the city of Ventura from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.:

• Monday, October 22: Eastbound and westbound SR-126 from Kimball Rd.to Victoria Ave.
• Tuesday, October 23: Eastbound SR-126 from Kimball Rd. to Victoria Ave. and westbound SR-126 from Victoria Ave. to Main St.
• Wednesday, October 24: Eastbound and westbound SR-126 from Victoria Ave. to Main St.
• Thursday, October 25: Eastbound SR-126 from Main St. to Victoria Ave. and westbound SR-126 from Kimball Rd. to Wells Rd.
• Friday, October 26: Westbound SR-126 from Kimball Rd. to Wells Rd.
