After School: Art (Ages 10-14)
Date and Time: Every Monday of the month from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm (Month-long sessions available in November and December 2023)

Cost: $40 per child for each month-long session

Let your kids exercise their creativity as they learn to draw, paint, and craft inside SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center! After School: Art for children ages 10 to 14 is all about having fun and building skills in a variety of artistic media.
Please note that this is a month-long program that will meet every Monday of the month (excluding holidays) from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. New programs will begin in November (acrylic painting – color and composition) and December (macrame) 2023. The program will be held inside the Cole Creativity Center, located at 123 N 10th St, Santa Paula, CA. Free parking is available behind the building and students may enter through the front or back door. A parent or guardian will be required to sign each student in and out of class every session.
This class is appropriate for children ages 10 to 14. The cost of each month-long session is $40.00 per person. All skill levels are welcome and all materials are provided. About Our Teaching Artist:
Mariann Romero was an art teacher at Santa Paula High School for 30 years during which she founded the annual Santa Paula High School Student Art Show. She has exhibited work at the Santa Paula Art Museum, where she frequently volunteers and, as of 2023, is an active board member. Her own artwork includes craft, two-dimensional, and sculptural work, often using gourds as her medium. Romero’s dedication to the arts and support of local youth programs has made her a pillar of the Santa Paula art community.
