CALL NOW- ONLY 8 SPOTS LEFTOnce a year, the OVLC Preserve Manager Rick Bisaccia leads a limited group of hikers on a very special springtime hike and picnic at a cost of just $25 per person. This year he is taking hikers up the Fox Canyon Trail on our newest preserve, the Valley View Preserve. Hikers will learn first-hand how Rick, with the help of the OVLC field crew and a cadre of volunteers, reclaimed the historic Fox Canyon trail. You will also learn about the plants and animals of the preserve. At the top you can sit back, relax and enjoy a picnic lunch and some incredible views of the valley.

Rick Bisaccia grew up in Ojai and has been the Preserve Manager for the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy for more than five years. His unique knowledge of the plants and wildlife on the Preserve coupled with a great sense of humor will make this an adventure you can’t afford to miss.

The cost for this event is $25 and includes a picnic lunch. Participation is limited to 15 hikers and reservations are required! Parking is limited so we will be carpooling to the trailhead.
