    Camarillo Celtic Faire Returns to Benefit CAREGIVERS

    The 23rd Annual Wearin’ o’ the Green to benefit CAREGIVERS: Volunteers Assisting the Elderly will feature the two-day Camarillo Celtic Faire from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15 at Constitution Park in Camarillo.

    The festivities kick off Friday night with a FREE outdoor screening of “Darby O’Gill and the Little People” with hot pizza service by Domino’s. Featuring live music and dancers throughout the day, as well as an array of Celtic vendors and food.

    Sponsors for the 2015 program include The McGrath Family, Heritage Meat Pies, Brendan’s Irish Pub & Grill, Collings & Associates, Union Bank, Mission Linen, Ginny & Bob Camarillo, Signarama, Roadrunner Shuttle, The Bunker, Community Memorial Health System, Camarillo Village Investment, John Weitzel, Breakfast Rotary Club of Camarillo, Hoffman Wealth Management, Brendan’s Irish Pub, Jack Tingstrom and Roadrunner Shuttle.

    CAREGIVERS is one of the original pilot programs for volunteer caregiving in the nation. Founded in 1984 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, the organization now serves hundreds of seniors thanks to generous volunteers throughout Ventura County, including Camarillo.
