Cannabis Educational Forum In Port Hueneme – Free Entry- Free Food

    Port Hueneme Police Department

The Port Hueneme Police Department and City of Port Hueneme will be hosting a Community Educational Forum on Cannabis for our residents on Thursday, March 28th from 6-8 pm at the Orvene Carpenter Community Center. The intent is to provide a comprehensive “Year In Review” of cannabis in our community since its inception in early 2018. The event will be used as an opportunity to review with our residents a host of questions that are commonly asked in regards to cannabis in our community. Topics will include revenue, community contributions, environmental impacts such as noise, traffic, and smell. Slides will also include youth access, prevention, and intervention efforts along with law enforcement initiatives. On this day, I will also be joined by Chief Lori Ajax from the Bureau of Cannabis Control who will be addressing our audience.

The community will also have the opportunity to meet with all of our local dispensaries at this event so our citizens can meet the people behind these dispensaries. We want to be transparent and let our community know if Cannabis is working in Port Hueneme. I hope to see you there.
