

WHO: AlmaVia of Camarillo, an assisted living community in Ventura County, will host the third annual Boot Scootin’ Chili Cook-Off to benefit the local Alzheimer’s Association. Anyone living in Camarillo and the surrounding area are invited to enter their favorite chili.
WHAT: Whose chili will reign supreme this year? Residents from all over Camarillo will put their favorite fall concoction to the test to benefit the local Alzheimer’s Association. AlmaVia of Camarillo is hosting the competition. The entry is $35 per chili recipe. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place. Along with the chili competition, the greater community is invited to participate in pie-eating contests, a silent auction, games and a dunk tank. Kids 12 and under are free; adults are $5.
