MitchumChris2Our guest speakers for the April 23 luncheon will be Chris Mitchum (Yes, cialis he is the son of actor Robert Mitchum), who is a candidate for the 24th Congressional District and Mark Lunn, who is Ventura County’s CountyClerk and Recorder/Registrar of Voters.

Chris Mitchum, in his second appearance at our club, is a Republican candidate for the 24th Congressional District.  He believes that this 2014 election is not as much about political parties as it is about the major issues facing our state and our country and his solutions to these issues.  His concerns are unemployment, the national debt, out- of-control government spending, immigration, and over-regulation of business & healthcare. Every American’s burdens.  Chris has been a successful actor & businessman. He served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Screen Actors Guild.  He also represented Ventura & SantaBarbaraCounties as a member of the Republican Central Committee.  Democrat Hannah Beth Jackson was his opponent in the last election, & he’s planning to unseat her this time.

Mark Lunn has been a frequent & popular guest of our club.  He’s the Ventura County Clerk & Recorder/Registrar of Voters.  He’s running for re-election this year.  He will be here to inform us about his office, the election, & voter information, with regard to the polls.
