Face Coverings No Longer Required at  Camarillo City Hall or Camarillo Public Library (Post Date: 6/15/21)

Effective June 15, Face Coverings No Longer Required at Camarillo City Hall or Camarillo Public Library

Camarillo, California – While the state continues to encourage face coverings for non-vaccinated individuals, the public is no longer required to wear face coverings while doing business at Camarillo City Hall, while attending City Council meetings, or while visiting the Camarillo Public Library.

Safety protocols remain in place for City Council, City staff and community members, including plexiglass shields, hand sanitizing stations, and social distancing guidance. However, in alignment with California’s reopening on June 15, Camarillo is relaxing face covering protocols consistent with the state’s guidance (ca.gov).

“The reopening efforts are creating a whole different level of complexity and coordination,” shared City Manager Greg Ramirez. “Safety has always been our top priority—not only for our City staff, but for all of our community members.”
