The perfect holiday gift for the business women in your life!

Ventura County, CA — NAWBO Ventura County (NAWBO VC) is launching an educational pilot program in the month of January to help women in business set their 2019 goals.

Open to the public, Create Your Future: Vision Board Playshop is a half-day workshop co-hosted by NAWBO VC and Life Path by Design founder Linda Drevenstedt being held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 1:00pm – 5:00pm at Best Western Thousand Oaks (75 W. Thousand Oaks Blvd). Discounted early bird tickets are available now at www.NAWBOVC.org, and make a great gift for the business women in your life!

Create Your Future: Vision Board Playshop uses goal setting, visioning and personal intentions to help attendees create a highly visual Vision Board for 2019. The process allows the creative brain and subconscious mind to help move goals and desires into reality. Everyone leaves with a completed Vision Board to help them start 2019 with a clear path for themselves and/or their business.

“I’ve used vision boarding for decades for myself and with my clients,” said Linda Drevenstedt, founder of Life Path by Design (www.lifepathbydesign.net) and five-year VC member. “It really is a great and creative exercise to discover where your intentions truly lie and how to move forward with purpose in your life and your career.” Linda’s Steel Magnolia wisdom, spunky wit and southern charm have helped her coaching clients move through obstacles and barriers to phenomenal success for the past 20 years. When Linda coaches and speaks people have “Aha” moments and take home practical action steps to cultivate more potential both personally and professionally.

NAWBO-VC plans to co-host workshops throughout 2019 with its members as a way to offer educational programming to the community while showcasing the stellar members of its chapter. In 2018, NAWBO-VC launched other popular educational programs including member Mastermind groups and a Mentor program that connects NAWBO-VC members with students and young professionals.

NAWBO Ventura County – The local Ventura County chapter of NAWBO is committed to strengthening the wealth creating capacity of its members while promoting economic development within the entrepreneurial Ventura County community. Additionally, the local chapter advocates for innovative and effective change in the business culture, building strategic alliances and transforming public policy for the benefit of its members. Membership is open to women sole proprietors, partners and corporate owners as well as those companies that support women-owned businesses.
