First Ever Camarillo Restaurant Week! | Great Food! Great Prices! Great Places!

Event Details

The Camarillo Hotel & Tourism Association (Visit Camarillo) is proud to announce the first-ever Camarillo Restaurant Week on January 22-28, 2018. This one-week event is designed to promote the area and its food scene with locally owned restaurants invited to join.

“As the first restaurant week event in Camarillo, our aim is to welcome residents and new guests to dine at a variety of restaurants and take time to explore the city,” says Adriana Huizar, Executive Director of the Camarillo Hotel & Tourism Association. “We want this event to kick start the city’s culinary reputation as the Central Coast’s newest dining contender and travel destination.”

During this citywide one-week dining event restaurants will need to create custom menus between $10-$20 for lunch and/or $20-33 for dinner. Additionally, Restaurants can showcase their best dishes or add a special offer to their menu to entice diners. As space is limited to ten businesses, restaurants are encouraged to sign up immediately at

Some of the benefits of restaurant week include increased exposure to first-time diners who can become regular patrons, increased traffic during traditionally soft periods and the opportunity to support the local restaurant community. A 2013 OpenTable study found that 91% of diners are likely to recommend their last restaurant week restaurant to a friend or family member. Also, 89% of diners are likely to return to their last restaurant week eatery as new fans.

A local and regional marketing campaign is underway with print and digital advertising dedicated to restaurant week efforts. A strong social media push will highlight the participating restaurants and the hashtag #CamarilloRW will be used to track engagement. Additional promotional materials include press releases, print materials and signage. If you have any questions, please contact Adriana Huizar at (805) 484-4383 or by email at [email protected].
