    Free Family Day: A Reptile Adventure at the Santa Paula Art Museum

    SANTA PAULA, CA – On Sunday, April 22, bring your family and friends to “Free Family Day: A Reptile Adventure” at the Santa Paula Art Museum. Visitors are invited to explore the Museum’s current exhibitions, participate in hands-on art workshops, and challenge one another to a digital game of “I Spy.” Plus, experience the wonder and excitement of reptiles, amphibians and arachnids during the “Reptile Family” show at 2:00 p.m. Admission to the event is free for everyone and activities will run from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    During their show at 2:00 p.m., the Reptile Family will present dozens of gentle creatures in a nurturing, hands-on format, designed to delight as well as educate. All guests will have the choice to touch, hold, or just look! Free Family Day will also include the opening reception of a new youth art exhibit entitled “The Mystery of the Snail’s Trail,” featuring artworks by students from the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clara Valley.

    The Santa Paula Art Museum, Jeanette Cole Art Center is located at 117 North 10th Street in historic downtown Santa Paula. The Museum features rotating exhibitions of vintage and contemporary art, educational programming for children and adults, artist talks and demonstrations, a gift shop, and more. The Museum’s regular hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Regular admission is $4.00 for adults, $3.00 for seniors, and is free for museum members and students.
