| Friday January 4 at 7:00 PM-A Victory Speech: Once again the Bakalors have graciously opened their home to the Libertarian Parties of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. They will host activist Kevin Shaw speaking on his victory for free speech. Just last month Shaw won a lawsuit and huge victory against the Los Angeles Community College District regarding free-speech zones. RSVPs are required as event is being held in a gated community and your name must be added to the visitor list. Tuesday January 29 at 6:00/6:30 PM-Annual Elections: All are welcome but members especially are asked to attend the annual officer elections meeting at Ottavio’s Italian Restaurant in Camarillo, 1620 Ventura Blvd. Social at 6:00 pm; meeting at 6:30 pm. All LPVC Executive Committee positions will be open for nomination and election. Members are eligible to run for office and/or vote for their new 2019 team. There will be an optional dinner for $28.00. Visit lpvc.org to make menu selection and purchase meal ticket. Note that the meal is not required to attend. For more information go to lpvc.org where you will find the open LPVC officer and committee position titles with their prospective duties.
