A full moon occurs once per month, when the sun and moon are at opposition, a word used by astronomers to describe an Earth sandwich, and it is a feast for the eyes!

This Saturday, September 10th, enjoy the Harvest Moon rise. Join a park ranger from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm for a 1.5-mile hike at Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills.

Wear close-toed shoes and bring water. Insect repellent and an outer layer are recommended.

Flashlights will be provided; however, our supplies are limited.

This event is a free of charge with complimentary parking. Be sure to register and mark your calendar.

Enter Paramount Ranch from Cornell Road, then turn left at the “T”. Meet at the end of the parking lot, near the first bridge.
