Birds of Winter at Mission Oaks

Mission Oaks Park
Over 100 different kinds of bird’s winter in our area. Some are residents and others only stay for the fall through early spring. Come meet some of them as you go through Mission Oaks Park. You can compare the different birds between here and from the January 9th Camarillo Grove hike two weeks before. Please meet at the tennis courts.

We are proud to offer Outdoor Education programs to help residents get in touch with their natural environment! The programs are aimed at teaching our community about their natural habitat including native plants and animals and the many benefits they provide us. Fun for all ages! #GetWild
Hikes
Must pre-register for all hikes. Limited to 10 people for social distancing purposes. Please come prepared with a mask, sturdy hiking shoes, hat, water, sunscreen, and binoculars. Hikes and classes subject to cancellation in the event of rain, strong winds or unhealthy air quality.
