HILLCREST PLAYERS Presents The Trial Of Goldilocks

    0

Young Artists Ensemble’s Hillcrest Players presents THE TRIAL OF GOLDILOCKS, cialis written by Joseph Robinette and directed by Victoria Sayeg.  Performances are Saturdays, October 15 and 22 at 1:00 and 3:00 pm at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts, 403 West Hillcrest Drive.

Just what happened that day? The classic fairytale is retold from three different perspectives, each one more hilarious than the last. In rhyme, mime and mirth, this exciting comedy examines the familiar fairy tale from three points of view: the traditional, the Bears’, then Goldilocks’.  Guilty or innocent?  Was the young girl a selfish, spoiled brat, intruding where she didn’t belong? Or was she the victim of three conniving bears (and their animal “no goods” in the woods)?  As one critic wrote: “The work is entertaining on all levels and is highly educational, both in presenting the same story from different points of view and in involving the child performers in a variety of ways.” A side-splitting story from all angles!

Tickets are $12 for everyone and may be purchased at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts Box office, or by calling (805) 381-1246 or online at www.yaeonline.com.  There is a discount of 10% for groups of ten or more.

Hillcrest Players gives young people an opportunity to flex their artistic muscles in a less demanding arena than a full-length production.   The one-act plays provide young performers with a positive experience to increase self-esteem, self-awareness and self-discipline.

Young Artists Ensemble is an award-winning theatre company for young people that has received many accolades, including the Encore Statue Award from the City of Thousand Oaks for Excellence in the Arts.  It has received top honors in the National Youth Arts Awards for many of its Teen Summer Musicals and its Conejo Theatre For Everyone.
