History Makers Youth Leadership Academy – 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Invite youth in middle school and high school to develop them as leaders and expose them to the American Legacy.  They will tour City Hall with Mayor McCoy and be encouraged to visit a City Council or School Board meeting.  Required: complete a 4-hour community service component.  Graduates will receive a Certificate of Recognition signed by Mayor McCoy.     

Topics include:  An Introduction to Leadership, Freedom, True Liberty, Morality and Character, The Birth of a Nation (an introduction to the American Legacy — our Founders); and Servant Leadership: Past, Present, Future (historical leaders in the life of America)

For Adults:  American Legacy Series – 7:00 – 8:30 PM
Presented by Mayor Rob McCoy.

Both begin at 6:00 PM with a Community BBQ ($5 donation)
