| what: | Monthly HHW (Household Hazardous Waste) collection events are free to all Moorpark residents. Locations are in Camarillo and Simi Valley. Appointments are necessary. A large variety of household toxins are accepted. Acceptable wastes include used oil and filters, automobile batteries, antifreeze, water and oil base paints, and much more. Call City Hall at 805-517-6257 with any questions. The City of Moorpark pays for Moorpark residents to participate in these events.Camarillo – 987-0717: Events are the second Friday and Saturday of the month.Simi Valley – 583-6321: Events are the third Saturday of every other month (odd numbered months). |
