Some of the topics that will be covered in the lecture are: ”Do science and Torah conflict? Was the universe created in 6 days or 15 billion years? Was there a creator? Why aren’t dinosaurs mentioned in the Torah? Local community member Paul Katz studied the sciences as a young man. In his personal search for answers, Paul found compelling insights from both scientists and Torah scholars. Come hear the fascinating and sometimes surprising answers that he discovered along the way. All adults and teens are invited to hear this intriguing lecture. All children ages 2-12 will “Get into the bubble” and enjoy an interactive show on the science of bubbles with rainbow, square, & triangle bubbles and get a chance to be inside of a Giant Bubble! In addition, participants will experiment and make their own bubbles as well! The event will be held at The Chabad Moorpark Jewish Center, located at 4219 Tierra Rejada Rd, Moorpark 93021 (near Vons). The lecture and childresn program will begin at 10:30 am and is open to the whole community. The fee is $10.00 adult/$8.00 child/$30 per family with advanced reservations.
