You’re invited to a new chapter
in Ventura’s local art scene
Dear Close friend of the Museum of Ventura County,
I hope you can make it to the Museum’s new sculpture garden on Santa Clara Street for the space’s very first opening reception; Paul Lindhard’s Echoes of a Recent Past, made possible by Art City Studios and the Ventura Artists’ Union.
Artist Paul Lindard’s vision has transformed a vacant lot into a space for art, sustainable gardening, and community gatherings. Throughout the process of building this new space, Paul brought together some of the finest local artists, organizers, and permaculture specialists to launch a new chapter in Ventura’s local art scene. We know it will be a valuable and beautiful new space.
The opening reception takes place on
Wednesday September 22nd from 5-8pm,
and is free and open to the public.
There will be live music by Jason Brock and his band, post-Celtic music by Maya Lumen, aerial performances by Fly Time Fitness, vendors, and a food truck.
