    Dear Friends,

We would love to host you and your family for a trilingual evening of Oaxacan culture and cuisine as we celebrate indigenous leadership.  We are humbled to have sold out every year, and grateful to the sponsors and volunteers who make this event possible.  Join us this year!

In addition to a traditional mole dinner, we are honored to host Oaxacan chef Neftali Duran of Massachusetts, named the 2014 Native American chef of the year by the Smithsonian.  Nef and a team of MICOP chefs will cook Oaxacan appetizers for our new Tasting Table.

During the evening, Indigenous leaders and First Five’s Claudia Harrison will share stories of lifting our voice.  All proceeds from Night in Oaxaca will benefit the work of the Mixteco/Indigena Community Organizing Project in aiding, organizing, and empowering Ventura County’s indigenous immigrant communities.

We are still welcoming sponsors and hope your agency will consider joining us.  Read more about our sponsorship opportunities here and below.  Please contact Margaret Sawyer at (805) 535-8861 or[email protected] to sponsor or with questions.

    See you soon!
