    Ojai Valley School: Imagine Peace with visit of John Lennon Educational Tour Bus–Feb. 11



    The Lennon Bus legacy continues by supporting music education programs with tours of the mobile recording studio

    WHAT: On February 11, vcialis 40mg 2015, pilule the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus will arrive at Ojai Valley School to begin a day of working with a select group of music students. Providing hands-on experiences for students of all ages since 1998, The Lennon Bus is currently on the 75th Anniversary Tour in celebration of what would have been John Lennon’s 75th birthday. That morning, over 150 students will gather to form a giant peace sign outside of the school. Throughout the day, the premier, non-profit 501(c)(3) mobile Pro-Audio, Video and Broadcast studio will give students an exclusive look into the latest in music products, audio, video and broadcast technologies. The day’s activities will also include a visit from Doug “SA” Martinez of notable rock band 311, who will be mentoring students on board the bus.

    Students will have a chance to hear first hand from the engineers who live and work on board the multi-million dollar facility. Participants will spend a full day developing an original project, creating the music, video, and images needed to take the idea from concept to delivery.

    The peace sign formation is scheduled for 8:00 AM. SA Martinez will be on board mentoring students from 8:45 AM – 10:30 AM.
