    Pastel Portrait Demonstration at the Santa Paula Art Museum

    Award-winning portrait artist Judy Klement will host a gallery talk at the Santa Paula Art Museum on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. Klement’s talk will include a live pastel portrait demonstration. The Santa Paula artist will share ideas on what to look for in capturing a person’s essence and personality in a work of art. The cost of admission to the demonstration is $4.00 for adults, $3.00 for seniors, and is free for students and museum members.

    Judy Klement specializes in portraiture, and also enjoys teaching art classes at her Santa Paula studio. Her work is exhibited and collected both locally and nationwide. Gallery talks at the Santa Paula Art Museum are held every second Thursday of each month at 3:00 p.m. The talks are led by Ventura County’s leading artists, curators, and educators.     The Santa Paula Art Museum is located at 117 North Tenth Street in downtown Santa Paula. The Museum’s regular hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sundays from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Regular admission is $4.00 for adults, $3.00 for seniors, and is free for museum members and students.
