Studio Channel Islands Art Center (SCIART) will present the newest in-person artist talk, “Perceive Me,” at 4:30 p.m., Aug. 7. This talk features artist, curator, and muse for the “Perceive Me” exhibition, Kristine Schomaker, who will highlight her motivation for her project and the journey it has taken her on.
