Philippine Independence Day ~ Flag Raising Oxnard City Hall, 305 W. Third Street, Oxnard, CA Monday, June 12, 2017 | 11:30am

The Filipino-American Council of Ventura County invites the public to their annual Philippine Independence Day Flag Raising Ceremony in commemoration of the 119th Anniversary of Philippines’ independence from Spain. The Philippine flag raising ceremony will be held at Oxnard City Hall, 305 W. 3rd Street (between A Street and C Street) on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11:30am.

Conducted once a year, the raising and flying of the Philippine flag over the City of Oxnard to mark the anniversary of Philippine Independence continue to be a source of great pride for the Filipino-American community. Over the years, this event has been well attended by City officials, County dignitaries, members of the Filipino community and the public.
