The new Emergency Department will be a state-of-the-art facility that is double in size and number of beds, compared with the current facility. It is part of an overall $41-million dollar project that also includes a new Cardiac Catheterization Lab, new surgical suite and an expanded GI Lab, among other amenities. This larger Emergency Department, along with the new services that will be provided, will enable Simi Valley Hospital to meet the needs of the communities of Moorpark, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and the surrounding region.
