Saving K9 Lives Plus, Inc. work done by volunteers , have helped numerous dogs from death row and finding them forever homes. The goal of Saving K9 Lives Plus is to provide public awareness of the growing population of homeless animals, the thousands of animals being euthanized in overcrowded shelter systems, and educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter and micro-chipping their pets. The fundraising enables the rescue to help save more pets with medical issues and the special needs. Saving K9 Lives Plus, Inc. rescues animals (mainly dogs and cats) from various situations, including, but not limited to: bailouts from City and County Shelters, from owners who can no longer care for their pets, animals that have been abused, neglected or abandoned and non profit rescues that cannot care for the animal needs. These animals will receive veterinary care, food and shelter and are temporarily housed in a volunteer foster home. Once these animals have been sterilized, vaccinated, cured and/or treated for any illness and evaluated for temperament, they will then become available for adoption thru public media.
“I changed when I visited my first shelter five years ago. I was unaware of how many animals were in the shelters and heading into death row. I started to foster a dog, volunteer and help a rescue. Later, Bobby and I founded Saving K9 Lives Plus, to help bring awareness to animals in need. This is our 3rd annual event, inviting Bobby’s colleagues to help bring awareness by “Singing for the Voiceless!” The funds have let us help dogs hit by cars, paralyzed dogs, medical dogs, etc. We hope to continue in our efforts with education, music and adoptions.”
