Join us for a St. Patrick’s Day Lunch to celebrate the holiday and remember Ronald Reagan’s ties to his ancestral home of Ballyporeen, Ireland. Dine on a delicious Irish meal and enjoy entertainment from Cleary Irish Dance. In addition, listen to music played by bagpiper Harry Farrar.
Following the lunch, guests will have a chance to self-guide the Ronald Reagan Presidential Museum and Air Force One Pavilion. Tour the plane that served seven U.S. presidents and don’t miss your chance to see the Reagan Pub on your outing. The signage, décor, and other key elements of this pub are preserved artifacts imported from the original Reagan Pub in Ballyporeen, Ireland. Ronald Reagan himself visited his namesake pub on a 1984 diplomatic trip to Ballyporeen. President Reagan stated that, “St. Patrick’s Day is not only the feast day of a great man of God, it is a symbol of the commitment of the Irish people to freedom, to justice, and to the values upon which Western civilization is built.” |
