viagra times; font-size: 16px;”>Simi Valley, CA…..  State Senator Steve Knight and recently retired Congressman Elton Gallegly will be co-hosting a campaign kickoff event for Senator Knight’s general election Congressional campaign with an open-to-the-public, old- fashioned campaign party at Knight’s newly renovated campaign office in Simi Valley.  Knight, the most widely endorsed candidate for Simi Valley’s Congressional seat, will be at the event along with Gallegly on August 9 from 1:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon.  The campaign office is located in Sycamore Village and the party will be in the office and the adjacent parking lot.  Knight’s family, supporters, and volunteers will be on hand with the Senator and Gallegly to serve hot dogs, popcorn, and sodas, and hear live entertainment by Chad Watson & Pam Loe.  All will be in full fashion “Americana Style.”

In co-hosting the event, ret. Congressman Gallegly noted “I am very impressed with Steve Knight’s credentials.  I have endorsed his campaign along with the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, Los Angeles Police Protection League, State Assemblyman Scott Wilk, Ventura County Supervisor Peter Foy, Simi Valley City Councilmen Glen Becerra, Mike Judge, Keith Mashburn, Steve Sojka and a long list of current and past Simi Valley community leaders.”

Knight, a native of the Congressional District and a Veteran of the United States Army, also spent 18 years as a Police Officer with LAPD. 

Knight was elected to the State Assembly in 2008.  As a Member of the Assembly, Knight served on the Committees for Local Government, Utilities and Commerce, Rules, and was Vice Chair on both the Natural Resources and Public Safety Committees.  Now in the State Senate, Knight has earned a reputation as a hard worker and respected member of the State Legislature.
