    The local chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby is hosting a program with two short talks followed by discussion.

    Don Price, professional engineer now retired from the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District, will speak about climate trends, climate science and how climate change impacts California. There will be discussion about technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and actions that everyone can do to slow global climate change.

    Jan Dietrick of the Ventura Chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby will focus on government’s role in slowing greenhouse gas emissions. She will have an update about climate bills currently being considered by members of Congress including the fee and dividend legislation proposed by CCL that protects American business as well as poor Americans.
