Join us for the 2022 Journey to Leadership Awards recognizing six outstanding community leaders for their contributions to Ventura County.

Please join us has we honor:

  • Business Leader of the Year: Maria Ventura (VCLA Cohort XXI), Senior Public Affairs Manager, Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas)
  • Educational Leader of the Year: Dr. Gerhard Apfelthaler, Dean, School of Management, California Lutheran University
  • Nonprofit Leader of the Year: Jack Hinojosa, Chief Executive Officer, Child Development Resources of Ventura County, Incorporated
  • Public Sector Leader of the Year: Sheriff Bill Ayub (VCLA Cohort XXIII), Ventura County Sheriff’s Office
  • Alumna of the Year: Carrie Hughes (VCLA Cohort XX), Chief Development Officer, Casa Pacifica Center for Children & Families
  • Founder’s Award: Dr. Tiffany Morse (VCLA Cohort XVII), Superintendent, Ojai Unified School District

The event kicks-off at 11:30 a.m. with a Networking/Social, followed by the awards ceremony beginning at 12:00 p.m.
