    16th President, Abraham Lincoln - 1865

Raise a toast to the Republican President who ended slavery in our nation! Join us!

Many among us who read this will nod our heads in agreement that the totalitarian elements in our nation today are working hard to silence all opposition. Don’t let Toadie Totalitarians silence your voice or diminish your values by denigrating who you are, what you think, or what you have to say!

Don’t let this radical element now attached to the Democrat Party Leadership disappear your voice and values from public discourse.

One does not need to be a Republican to participate. On the contrary, a person’s desire for liberty, freedom, and the pursuit of a healthy Constitutional Republic is the only criteria for joining us! Please join members of our club and all others who want to share her or his views.

“This is essentially a people’s contest. . . . It is a struggle for maintaining in the world that form and substance of government whose leading object is to elevate the condition of men—to lift artificial weights from all shoulders—to clear the paths of laudable pursuit for all—to afford all an unfettered start, and a fair chance, in the race of life!” —July 4, 1861, Message to Congress in Special Session

The Channel Islands Republican Women Federated is celebrating 65 years this year. So too is the Republican Party celebrating an anniversary. The Party of Lincoln, whose birthday is today, February 12th, was founded in 1854. The values and ideas embodied in the Republican Party at its founding were so powerful that merely six years later in 1860 Abraham Lincoln would be elected the first Republican President.
