Eyewitness account of accident at Lantana and Gonzales in Oxnard

Oxnard police and fire departments responded to a multiple car accident at west Gonzales Rd. and Lantana St. in Oxnard, for sale   California. The driver of a green compact car attempting to make a left turn from Lantana  St. onto east bound Gonzales Rd. said that she, adiposity “was in the intersection waiting  to make a left turn”. She said that she, “saw the silver compact car traveling west on Gonzales Rd.” toward her, “it was coming fast, so I brace myself holding on tight to the steering wheel.”

The silver vehicle hit the front end of her car shearing off the front bumper.  It then swerved onto the east bound lanes of Gonzales Rd and hit an SUV and another compact car.

The driver of the silver car may have ran the red light. The accident which occurred just before 10:00 AM is still under investigation to determine cause.
