September 22 | 11:00 AMSight + Sound, Oxnard’s newest film festival, will showcase cutting edge independent cinema. The schedule includes 30 films in 3 days, including features, documentaries, short films, and music videos. The opening night film, Hearing is Believing, is from award-winning director, Lorenzo DeStefano. The story is a dynamic and engaging portrait of Rachel Flowers, a young musician/composer and Oxnard resident. All films will be screened in the main auditorium of the Oxnard Performing Arts Center, September 20-22, 2019. Check out the after-parties with refreshing drinks, bites, and live music from a lineup of local bands including Los Retros, Sarah Tonein, KaRdo, Moonily, Omega Nova, and Las Criaturas.

Russian Ballet Theatre
Swan Lake

Russian Ballet Theatre presents a classic production of the world’s most famous ballet, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, featuring Russia’s brightest ballet stars. Russian Ballet Theatre presents Swan Lake at the PACC – one night only! If you think you have seen Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, think again! Russian Ballet Theatre’s new production bestows the splendor of tradition with new magical trimmings! Original sets are hand painted following century-old traditions of set making and over 150 magical costumes are hand sewn! Nadezha Kalinina’s (Mariinsky Theatre, Omsk Theatre, Teatro Lirico) choreography is brought to life in all of its whimsical grandeur. We are collaborating with Plus 1, an initiative that connects artists with causes.
So, $1 per ticket sold goes to funding Oxnard public school teachers’ needs through DonorsChoose.org.
