Fatal accident on South Seaward, Ventura

cialis arial, doctor sans-serif;”>Officers from the Ventura Police Department’s Patrol and Traffic Divisions are currently on scene of a fatal traffic collision in the 700 block of S. Seaward Ave. Witnesses reported the single vehicle was traveling southbound on Seaward Ave. and left the roadway, story colliding into a traffic signal pole. The female driver was the only occupant of the vehicle. No other vehicles were in involved in the collision.

Ventura City Fire and paramedics attempted to revive the driver of the vehicle, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

While officers are on scene conducting the investigation, Seaward Ave. in both directions will be closed to traffic from Highway 101 to Alessandro Dr.

No further information is available at this time. Another press release will be sent out at the conclusion of the investigation.

While the investigation is be conducted, we ask the public to use an alternate route to travel and stay clear of the area.
