Kevin Jacob Enns (DOB 3/10/75), of Ventura, was sentenced after pleading guilty to one felony count of embezzlement of public funds.
Enns was employed by the State of California Department of Parks and Recreation for approximately 20 years. Enns worked as an entry gate attendant at the San Buenaventura State Beach. It is alleged that from June 8, 2019, to July 6, 2019, Enns stole a portion of the cash he received for park entrance fees. The loss is estimated to be $3650.
Ventura County Superior Court Judge Bruce Young sentenced Enns to 120 days in the Ventura County Jail and 36 months formal probation. Full restitution in the amount of $3,650 was paid.
