Free estate-planning seminar to be held at Cal Lutheran will cover law, probate, taxes

“Purposeful Estate Planning: Mindful Choices for You, Your Loved Ones and Your Assets” will run from 6 to 8 p.m. in Room 253 of the Gilbert Sports and Fitness Center on the Thousand Oaks campus.

Attorneys Esther Hopkins and Theresa Loss from Hilliard and Hopkins LLP in Westlake Village will discuss creditors and predators, avoiding probate, and planning for long-term care, businesses, charitable giving, taxes and special needs.

Cal Lutheran’s Criminal Justice Department is sponsoring the event along with Hilliard and Hopkins.

Gilbert Sports and Fitness Center is located on the north side of Olsen Road between Campus Drive and Mountclef Boulevard.
